1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Buyer Logic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Buyer Logic is a Chrome extension that displays VAT registration status of sellers on eBay.co.uk. The Service retrieves publicly available VAT information to help consumers make informed purchasing decisions.

3. Subscription Plans

• 3.1 Free: 200 VAT checks per calendar month, access to all core features, no credit card required.
• 3.2 Pro: £4.99 per month or £49.90 per year (save 16%), unlimited VAT checks, priority support, early access to new features.

All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and exclusive of applicable taxes.

4. Billing and Payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Auto-renewal applies unless cancelled before the billing date
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance

5. Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Access continues until the end of your current billing period
• No partial refunds for unused time within a billing period
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier

6. Refund Policy

• 30-day money-back guarantee on first subscription
• Refund requests must be made within 30 days of initial purchase
• No refunds after the 30-day period or for subscription renewals
• Contact support@buyerlogic.app for refund requests

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the free tier
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Resell or redistribute data obtained through the Service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy or completeness of VAT information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all websites or browsers

VAT data is sourced from public registries and may be delayed or incomplete. Always verify critical information directly with HMRC.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buyer Logic shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Purchasing decisions made based on VAT information

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Abuse the Service or its infrastructure
• Engage in fraudulent activity

11. Modifications to Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Material changes to paid features will be communicated with at least 30 days notice.

12. Intellectual Property

Buyer Logic and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
